Charge D'affaires a.i. Shi Yuanqiang Visits Polytechnic College Suriname

On December 3, Mr. Shi Yuanqiang, Charge D’affaire a.i. of the Chinese Embassy in Suriname paid a visit to Polytechnic College Suriname (PTC) at invitation, and met with Managing Director of the college Mr. Robby Holband. Member of the College Board, Vice Chairman of Fa Tjauw Song Foei Mr. Stephen Tsang and Chief of the political section of the Embassy Mr. Yang Chuanhui attended the meeting. Mr. Shi visited the offices, teaching facilities and laboratory of the college and talked with some students.

   

Mr. Holband introduced the present operation and development plan of PTC, including the newly-opened Chinese course. “The visit has given us a big picture of PTC. We are deeply impressed by the unique way of running school and the important role PTC has been playing in training professionals for Suriname over the years. I believe PTC will make more progress and achieve further success in future.” Mr. Shi said. Both sides have agreed to keep communication and explore ways of cooperation in Chinese education and other areas in future.
