Li Keqiang said, China and Malaysia, facing each other across the sea, have long maintained traditional friendly relations and made positive contributions to regional peace, stability and development. At present, the COVID-19 pandemic is still raging around the world, and no country can be immune from the crisis. The international community should strengthen cooperation in fighting the virus and jointly build a global community of health for all. Malaysia is the first country to sign an inter-governmental cooperation agreement on COVID-19 vaccine with China and reach reciprocal arrangements for vaccination. China supports Malaysia in improving its vaccine production capacity and supports the two countries' health authorities and pandemic prevention experts in strengthening exchanges and cooperation as well as experience sharing. He hopes that the Malaysian side could ensure that Chinese citizens in Malaysia will be vaccinated at an early date.

China stands ready to deepen cooperation with Malaysia in economy, trade and investment, digital economy, manufacturing, agriculture and maritime transportation infrastructure construction. China encourages its enterprises to invest in Malaysia in accordance with market rules and commercial principles, so as to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Muhyiddin said, the traditional friendship between Malaysia and China has brought benefits to the two countries and their people. Malaysia attaches great importance to its relations with China, firmly supports and is ready to further deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with China. The Malaysian side stands ready to strengthen bilateral cooperation in such key areas as economy, trade and investment, digital economy, high and new technology, industrial parks and agriculture, and welcomes Chinese enterprises to invest and start businesses in Malaysia. China's strong support has played an important role in Malaysia's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The Malaysian side hopes to continue to strengthen cooperation with China in fighting the pandemic, especially to better share China's successful experience in addressing the pandemic. The Malaysian side will facilitate the vaccination of Chinese citizens in the country.
