Ambassador Su Ge and Madame Li Jing held on January 23 a reception celebrating the Chinese New Year. Minister Michael Jong Tjien Fa, Parliamentarian Kail Sandra Lee, leaders of the local Chinese community, Chinese enterprises in Suriname, together with other members of the Embassy, attended the reception.

Ambassador Su reviewed developments in China in 2008 and bilateral relationship between China and Suriname. Noting important tasks lying ahead, Ambassador Su wished everyone a healthy, prosperous and happy New Year.
